Future of the Leys
To keep everyone abreast of the news on fundraising and activities around the Leys, I have added a temporary page. If we are able to raise the finance to buy the field, we will develop this page to share information on its history and its biodiversity. At the moment, though, it is just to keep you informed.

Edgehill Games - UPDATE
Due to the severe weather warning from the met office (expected heavy rain and wind gusting up to 50mph) both the opening ceremony and the cycling event have been postoned as it did not constitute a safe event for cyclists or marshalls, and would not be fun for anyone who felt brave enough to attend the opening ceremony.
All pre-entered cyclists will be able to transfer their entry to the new date which will be announced shortly, or get a refund. Whilst it is very disappointing, we hope that many of you will be able to enjoy the event in its new time slot for which we have of course booked a glorious sunny day.

See http://www.combrook-pc.gov.uk/combrook-3116.cfm The Games will include 26 events from cycling time trials and a half marathon, to Wii Mario Kart racing, Teddy Bear parachuting and welly-wanging. Whatever your age, there are events where you can take part. More information on the events and details of how to enter can be found on the new web page, Edgehill Games , or download the 'Games flyer update' on this page.

In the latest Safer Neighbourhoods newsletter read about....
Theft of a caravan in Moreton Morrell; thefts from cars broken into at the Garden Centre, Warwick Road, Black Hill; two car windows smashed in Kineton, and child seat taken; burglary through a cat-flap in Kineton; damage to a car in Wellesbourne. See attached newsletter.
